A modernized take
on a
Business-casual classic
Looks like these have been around for longer than even my parents can remember. The classic button-up paired with slacks has always been a favorite. Paired with a pair of black jeans, distressed at the ankles, I wear a pink striped button up, paired with various rose gold accessories to give a feminine gleam to the standard "working-male" look. The Standard
To recreate this look, or simply to acquire a modern style, try pastels layered over or under something of a contrasting shade. The harsher the contrast, the better. The color scheme is extremely important. Primarily whites and blues are used, but also blacks and grays. Accessorizing is imperative. With a simple outfit, there must always be a statement piece, and with this look, the statement pieces are the dainty, feminine, rose gold pieces.
